Australian Packaging Covenant Org.
Of the estimated 3.4 millions tonnes of packaging that ends up in Australia’s landfill each year, just under half is currently recycled. Yet the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation has set a target of NO packaging being sent to landfill by 2025. The number of signatories to this target stands at about 1000 and growing. |
Employee Spotlight
Jacob Fronis Assistant Manager - Purchasing & Customer Service Jacob got a start in the family business straight out of high school, receiving inwards goods in the warehouse for several years before becoming 2IC in the warehouse. He then made the leap over to the sales team where he serviced the retail butchery trade, before taking over the food-service packaging portfolio with our distributor network. Jacob then took on coordinating operations and ensuring the different departments work as one cohesive unit. Jacob has recently ventured into customer service & purchasing, becoming Assistant Manager of the two departments. And just like his grandfather Al Raper, Jacob has a keen interest in thoroughbreds and Racing Queensland. |
